My first clients have been fingerprinted and report the process went quickly. That's always nice to hear! I had prepared them for the possibility of a wait, so I was pleased to know they were quickly in and out.
USCIS has also clarified an important point on Form I-821D and Form I-765. Both forms request Social Security Numbers (SSN). Many people have fake Social Security Numbers or even numbers they have purchased/borrowed knowing the numbers belong to someone else. USCIS is interested only in Social Security Numbers officially issued to the applicant. In other words, if you have a fake SSN or purchased/borrowed an SSN, do not put those numbers on the forms. Leave the SSN space blank or write NONE.
